Dell Latitude 5501 64GB of RAM? Yes!

Imagine my surprise when my Dell Latitude 5501 was able to be upgraded to 64GB of RAM when the specifications state it has a maximum of 32GB. My guess is marketing. They want to sell you a more expensive model that officially supports more RAM.
Here is a link to the RAM that worked for me. Anyway, if you are looking to upgrade your 5501, go ahead and move to 64GB.

    1. I changed the link to an Amazon search with the proper terms (32GB DDR4 2666 MHz). Thanks!

    2. Thanks. Problem is, there are many different RAM configurations on these sticks and as such, a general search term isn't worth anything. I was looking for the specific RAM you had success with as others have tried without success.

    3. Ah! I posted a link to the actual RAM I purchased (found in my Amazon orders.) I must have just been lucky because it was the first one I tried.
